GDPR & your data rights
If you're in the UK or EU, data-protection law gives you rights over your personal data. Here's a plain-English summary and how to exercise them with us.

Your rights
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct data that's wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your account data.
- Portability — ask for your data in a portable form where applicable.
- Objection & restriction — object to, or ask us to limit, certain processing.
How we use your data
We process your data to provide the service you asked for — saving your CV, running AI suggestions you request, handling payments if you upgrade, and keeping the service secure. We don't sell your personal data.
Processors we rely on
- Supabase — database storage and authentication for accounts and CV content.
- Stripe — payment processing, only if you upgrade to a paid plan.
- An AI provider — processes the text you submit when you use an AI feature, to generate the suggestion.
Each processor handles data under its own terms and safeguards. We share only what's needed for that specific purpose.
Sensitive data
Please don't include special-category data (such as health, identity documents or financial account numbers) in your CV unless it's genuinely necessary for your application.
