Privacy
This is a plain-English summary of how ProResume handles your information. It reflects how the product works today and will be updated as the product changes.

What we collect
- Account details — if you create an account, your email address and authentication details (handled by our authentication provider).
- CV content — the text you enter into your CV or resume (roles, education, skills and similar). If you're signed in, this is saved so you can return to it.
- Usage of AI features — when you use an AI feature, the text you submit is processed to generate suggestions, and we keep a basic record of the request for limits and reliability.
- Basic technical data — standard information your browser sends, used to keep the service working and secure.
How your CV is stored
If you build as a guest, your draft is kept in your own browser's local storage on your device. If you sign in, your CV is saved to our database so it's available across sessions. You can edit or delete your content, and you can ask us to delete your account data (see “Your choices”).
Third parties we rely on
- Storage & authentication — we use Supabase to store account and CV data and to manage sign-in.
- Payments — if you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We don't store your full card details; Stripe processes them.
- AI features — when you use an AI feature, the relevant text is sent to an AI provider to generate the suggestion. Only the content needed for that request is sent.
AI-assisted features
AI features only rewrite, clarify and strengthen the content you provide — they don't invent experience, qualifications or licences. Please avoid pasting information you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI provider.
Sensitive data
A CV doesn't need highly sensitive personal data. Please don't upload identity documents, financial account numbers, health records or other sensitive information unless it's genuinely necessary for your application.
Your choices
- Edit or delete your CV content at any time while signed in.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing us.
